Family First Household Staffing Agency is assisting first time parents in finding a long term nanny for their cuddly and curious 1-year old boy. They are located near the Bloomingdale neighborhood in Washington, D.C. The zip code is 20001 for reference.

The family is looking for a nanny to start December 1, 2020. This position is Monday – Friday 8am-5:30pm, guaranteeing 47.5 hours per week. They are offering $18-$23 per hour for a career nanny that has three or more years of in-home experience as a nanny. Pay depends on the nannies experience.

The family is currently working from home and will continue to work from home in an enclosed office that is away from the main living areas. It is important that their nanny be comfortable and flexible with this working situation. Their perfect fit nanny is one who is calm, communicative, and interactive. As their child grows, they would love for him to experience local classes, playdates and trips to the park. For now, they would like their nanny to take their little one on walks around the neighborhood and engage him in plenty of interactive activities that helps him grow developmentally. They are looking for their nanny to be a support to the family, and bring a nurturing and calming environment into their home.

As first time parents, it is important to the family that their nanny be very comfortable with children and supporting the family as a whole. Their son currently has virtual physical therapy exercises that the nanny will need to be comfortable doing and monthly doctors appointments to keep him on track as he was a preemie.

Covid safety is very important as one of the family members is immune compromised. Please note that it is vital that all candidates applying respect the severity of social distancing and the effects it could have on this family. The great news is they have family very close to them that they would love for the nanny to connect with to set up play dates.

They need a nanny who has the foresight to anticipate their child’s needs, can recognize any developmental issues and is communicative with them about their child’s day. If you have a calming, nurturing demeanor, and have previous experience as a nanny, this job could be great for you!
