Long Term Nanny Wanted in Charlotte, NC

Family First Household Staffing Agency is assisting a family located in Charlotte, North Carolina in finding a long-term, part time nanny for their curious and happy 19 month old son. This job starts July 6th, 2020. The family does anticipate having a second child in the future.

This position is Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00-5:00pm. Guaranteeing 25 hours per week. The family is offering $18 per hour for a professional nanny that has three or more years of recent in-home nanny experience with toddlers.

They are looking for a trustworthy nanny who will care, invest, and create structure for their son. They would like their son to continue to learn and grow by having a nanny who will engage him in play based learning. Their ideal candidate is one that can calm and reassure them, as they are first time parents. It is important that their nanny be receptive of their needs as a family and can include them in their son’s daily activities.

It is to be noted that their son has food allergies and eczema. If you are applying for this position, you must be comfortable administering an EPI pen in case of emergencies and comfortable providing safe food that the parents have prepared.

The family does not want their son’s allergies to control his activities. Their perfect fit nanny is one who is active and willing to take their son to classes, story times, walks, and playgrounds.

Childcare related duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Washing, drying, folding the child’s laundry
  • Doing the dishes
  • Creating play based educational activities
  • Picking up after the child’s play areas
  • Avoiding certain foods
  • Administering EPI pen if needed


  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • Have three recent years of in home nanny experience
  • Be able to lift 30 pounds
  • be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • have a reliable car
  • be at least 21 years of age
  • be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
