Family First Travel Nannies is assisting a family that is relocating to Waverly, North Carolina. They are looking for a long term nanny for their 1 year old and baby that is due in October. This is a great opportunity to grow with the family as they are looking for long term help. The family will be living within walking distance of a shopping center, so their will be lots of opportunity to get out and about. They are looking for a nanny that enjoys the outdoors, has a calming demeanor, and radiates creativity and imagination.
Duties would include all aspects of the children’s life including laundry, cleaning up after crafts and play time, prepping home made baby food, planning adventures to parks, museums and other fun places as well as setting up play dates. They have their daughter on a great eating and sleeping schedule, but they have asked for help creating more of a structured environment for learning and developmental growth.
Please note that the mother does work from home, but has agreed to stay in her office with her door closed at all times. If she needs to come out, she will let the nanny know so that the little ones will not get confused about who is in charge.
The hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30pm with some flexibility desired for date nights and occasional weekend help. The pay for this position is $16 per hour. Once the baby arrives pay will be raised to $18 per hour.

Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- infant and toddler experience
- a minimum of 1 year experience as an in home nanny
- a minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience
- be legally permitted to work in the United States
be at least 21 years of age - have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have three professional childcare references
- be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
