Part Time Nanny/Tutor Needed in Concord, NC

Family First is assisting a Private High Profile family in finding a Part Time Nanny/Tutor to work in their home. The hours of this position will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8AM-2:30PM at their home located in Concord, NC. The hours are flexible, but mornings are preferred.

The ideal candidate will be friendly with the family, but will mostly be calm, discreet, organized, proactive and able to take directions well. The family has 5 home schooled children ages (3, 6, 8, 9, and 12). The family currently has a full time Nanny/Tutor that you will be assisting. Since you will be assisting the lead Nanny, each candidate that applies will need to be a team player, be flexible and proactive as duties will vary depending on what the lead Nanny will need assistance with.

Responsibilities would include: 

  • Tutoring during home school hours
  • Preparing meals for the children
  • Cleaning up daily and after the children in each room
  • Running the dishwasher as necessary and emptying it/putting away dishes
  • Ensuring refrigerator is clean and out-of-date items are discarded as necessary
  • Wiping down counters, tabletops as necessary
  • Folding and putting away the children’s laundry
  • Rotating seasonal clothes an maintaining orderly closets for clothes, linens, and household items
  • Running errands such as grocery shopping, post office runs, dry cleaning runs, and shopping for presents the family may need

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • Nanny/Tutor with SUV/Van preferred
  • Previous Nanny experience with HNW family
  • Previous Tutoring experience
  • Must be a team player and willing to work with other Staff
  • Ability to pass a National Background check
  • Clean Driving Record
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Must have excellent swimming skills as the home is surrounded by water
  • Must be organized, proactive and take direction well
  • Must be able to provide exceptional references

Benefits and Pay:

  • $18-$20 Per Hour
  • Guaranteed 20 hours per week
