Family First is assisting a lovely family in Charlotte, North Carolina, in finding an active, patient, long term nanny for their three children, ages 5, 3, and 4 months. They are located near the Park Road Shopping Center.
This position starts on November 9th. They are offering $18-22 an hour for a warm and outgoing candidate. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, with a half day given on either Thursday or Friday and guaranteeing 40 hours a week. They are open to a newer nanny and happy to pay for training if needed. The family works from home and needs a nanny who is an active communicator and does not mind them popping in for lunch occasionally. It is important though, that their nanny be someone who can take charge in the home while the parents are working. The two older children, 5 and 3, are in school some of the time during the week, so it is vital that their nanny be comfortable with drop offs and pickups. A nanny car will be provided.
It is important that their nanny model respect and kindness to their children, and in turn, for their children to be respectful and kind. They like their children to be responsible for participating in some chores, and for their nanny to encourage independence. They need someone who is confident in caring for all three children at once, and who can be sociable and polite. They are looking for a nanny who can keep their children active and engaged in plans throughout the day. Their oldest loves pretend play, barbies, and books. Their three-year-old loves cars, trains, and being very active. Both of their children are involved in gymnastics lessons.
Their perfect nanny is one who is active, engaging, and thoughtful in daily plans, communication, and child-rearing. They need someone who is comfortable with reward charts and following through with the parenting style they are currently utilizing. Their nanny needs to be comfortable following a meal prep guide provided by the family and must be comfortable preparing meals around their child’s peanut allergy.
Their nanny’s responsibilities and duties will include active and engaging childcare, as well as errand running, meal prepping, bottle sterilization, and light household duties. The family is looking for a nanny who is comfortable bringing the Spanish language into their home and can be helpful with their child’s online learning. Their nanny needs to be up to date on vaccinations, willing to get a yearly flu shot, and be following CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
If you are a nanny who is confident, kind, respectful, patient, and has great communication skills, we would love for you to apply! Nannies who speak both English and Spanish fluently will be given priority.
