Family First Household Staffing Agency is happily assisting a family located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, North Carolina, in finding a long term nanny for their lego loving children, ages 6 and 3.

This position starts ASAP, but they are willing to wait for the right fit. They are offering $22 an hour for a patient, empathetic, and respectful nanny with three or more years of in home experience. They need care from 2pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday, guaranteeing 30 hours a week.

It is important that their nanny has long term experience and it is preferred that they have worked with atypical children or have an understanding of behavioral therapies. Their six year old has mild autism and occasionally encounters social anxieties. He is lovable and social, and enjoys numbers and building with legos. Their three year old is an active toddler who enjoys playing with chalk, walking around the neighborhood, and dinosaurs. They would love a nanny who can focus on fine motor skills and prepping their three year old for preschool. Care will primarily be for their three year old.

They are looking for a nanny who can be their childrens’ support system when they are not home. Their ideal nanny is one who can begin to take the lead on raising their children to be respectful, kind, and empathetic. Their oldest child has an in-home therapist, and mom works on a ROTA schedule, so their nanny must be comfortable working hand in hand with others in the home. As a family, they are making changes to a more healthy lifestyle and are looking for a nanny who will support them in this. A COVID-19 vaccine is preferred, but if their nanny is not vaccinated, they will be required to wear a mask while at work.

If you are a seasoned, patient, empathetic and loving nanny, who happens to have experience with children on the spectrum or a willingness to learn, we would love for you to apply!
