Family First is happily assisting a family of four in the Ballantyne neighborhood of Charlotte, NC (near the Arboretum), in finding an exceptional long term nanny for their two boys, ages 6.5 and 2.5. Their nanny must love kitty cats.

This position starts April 18th, 2022. Care is needed Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm, with occasional overnights and travel. They are requesting flexibility and are offering $20-$25 an hour for a reliable, experienced nanny who has experience with exceptionally intelligent and gifted children. They are a type A family that values respect, structure, and a tidy home. They are looking for a nanny who aligns with those values and is able to spark creativity in their children.

Their 6.5 year old loves math and any kind of sports. He swims year round and is getting into lacrosse. He was just diagnosed with 2E and ADHD, so a nanny experienced or knowledgeable in working with gifted children would be ideal. Their 2.5 year old is as sweet as can be and is learning about his own interests while exploring the world. Both boys are very high energy and will thrive off of a caregiver who can match their levels. They both adore outdoor time and it is important their nanny spend ample time with them outside. They both go to school and the family is requesting household duties to be completed during that time.

As a family, they value inclusion, kindness, and responsibility. They want to raise their boys to be respectful and productive members of society. They are looking for a nanny who is truly invested in their long term growth and their family life as a whole. Someone who can act as an extension of mom is ideal.
