Family First is assisting a family in Waxhaw, NC, in finding an experienced, long term career nanny for their 2.5 year old and newborn child. They do have two old labs and a doggy door, so no pet care will be needed.
This position starts in January , 2022. Care is needed 8:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday. They are offering $23-$25 an hour, plus an amazing benefits package, and 40 guaranteed hours a week for an engaging, hands on, and collaborative nanny. This job will include some travel, so a nanny who is willing to go on a few long weekend trips a year would be great! At the start of the New Year, they will be on parental leave, so their nanny’s focus will mostly be on their toddler. Outside of parental leave, they work from home three to five days a week in separate office spaces. They respect nanny boundaries and want someone who is truly proactive and can take over the household while working. They are engaged and involved parents who enjoy being a major part of their children’s lives, and have weekly scheduled fun time with their nanny and the kids.
Their toddler loves being outside and going on playdates. He has a standing Tuesday playdate appointment with other nannies, and ideally, their new nanny will continue this tradition, in their own way!. He loves to go on outings to new and different places, and they would love a nanny who comes to the table with a fun “Mary Poppins Bag” of activities in their back pocket. He is in half day preschool two days a week, so drop off and pickup is required. Their child does have speech therapy four days a week, and occupational therapy one day a week. While experience in speech therapy is not required, it is preferred, and at the least, their nanny must be comfortable working as a team with their son and therapists on goal setting, meeting, and follow up. Requirements:

- At least 5 years of in home nanny experience
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- At least 21 years of age
- Willing to undergo national background check
