Family First is excited to assist a sweet family located in Matthews, NC, in finding a long term (minimum of two years requested) nanny for their new family. They are first time parents and their child will be 3 months old at start.
This position starts on January 16th, 2022. Care is needed five days a week, Monday (8am-4pm,) Tuesday through Thursday (7am-5pm,) and Friday (8am-4pm). This position is offering $25-$30 an hour and 45 guaranteed hours a week for a nanny that is supportive, knowledgeable, and caring. Mom and dad both work demanding, corporate jobs, so a caregiver that can be flexible and comfortable running things while they are working is important. They need support in transitioning into parenthood, while also working. They are a kind, loving, and positive couple who is looking to extend their careteam with someone who has the same outlook on life and child-rearing. They are open to various types of philosophies and methods, and are interested in a caregiver who can educate them on different practices as their child grows.
They are an organized, clean family and would value a caregiver who can keep things running in tip top shape, including thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing bottles and pump parts. Type A, very friendly, and amazing neighbors are three ways to describe this insanely sweet couple. Ideally, they will welcome a nanny into their home who can become an extension of their family. They would love their child to be raised in a positive, upbeat, and loving household, with a lot of music playing and giggles of fun. Their nanny must be experienced in hands-on infant care and have excellent infant references.
Childcare duties:
- Keeping play and common areas tidy
- Restocking nursery
- Preparing and Sanitizing bottles and pump parts
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining a schedule and routine
- Communication with parents
- Meeting basic needs of child
- Creating an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment
- Keeping the child on track developmentally
- Fostering a nurturing and safe environment
Household Duties;
- Child’s laundry
- Folding Parent’s laundry
- Loading and Unloading the dishwasher
- Cutting up veggies for parents meals
- Meal prep for child as she grows
Requirements:
- Communicative
- At least 3+ years of infant experience
- CPR and First Aid certified
- COVID and TDAP Vaccine required
- Must be fluent in English
- Legally permitted to work in United States
- Must be at least 21
- Be willing to undergo a nationwide background check if hired
