Family First is excited to assist an outdoorsy family located in the Cotswold neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina, in finding a long term, professional, and loving nanny for their two boys, ages 4 and 2. They are expecting their third child in June, and mom will be on maternity leave until October! They do have a Golden Doodle, so a nanny who loves pets is a must.
This position starts ASAP, but the family is willing to wait until March 27th for the right fit! Care is needed 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. They are offering $25-$28/hr (with a pay increase in October when mom goes back to work) and guaranteed hours for a nanny that is experienced, energetic, and team playing. While mom is on maternity leave, from June to October, their nanny will not have all three children at the same time. During the regular school year, their 4 year old is in prek 5 days a week, and their 2 year old goes 2 days a week, from 9am-1pm. Starting in the fall, the 2 year old will be going to the preschool 5 days a week as well, meaning their nanny will have only the baby from 9am-1pm. Someone who is proactive and able to balance the schedules of 3 children as second nature will be a good fit. Mom does work from home 2-3x a week, so their nanny must be comfortable with mom popping out once in a while.
Their 4 year old is sensitive, sweet, and loving. He enjoys being outside and has an amazing imagination. He likes to see his nanny as his bestie and is good at picking up on peoples energy. Their toddler is strong willed, cuddly, independent, and very verbal. He loves to read and be outside. Both boys play together well and are cooperative, happy, young kids! They are a family oriented bunch that values positive discipline, The Whole Brain Child, boundaries, and natural consequences. Their nanny will need to be comfortable setting boundaries with the children and holding firm (but kind) in those boundaries. Mom and dad try to give the children confidence and natural ownership of chores and tasks, with the goal of teaching independence and self-reliance. They are a tight bunch who love spending time together outdoors, with friends, and playing golf. They have a lot of energy!
Mom and dad like their home to be structured and organized. They are looking for a nanny who can be a team player, help guide them as parents and create a lasting, healthy, and respectful relationship. Ideally, their nanny becomes a part of their family and genuinely cares about the development and growth of their children.

Duties include:
- Tidying up children’s play and living areas
- Keeping diapers and wipes stocked
- Transporting children to and from activities
- Keeping children on schedule
- Developing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities

Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Able to work in the US
- Speak English Fluently
- At least 20 years old
- At least 3 years of hands on childcare experience, 1 with infants
