Family First is assisting a family of 5 located in Waxhaw, NC, in finding a long term nanny for their three smart and active boys, ages 10, 8, and 6.
This position starts ASAP, but they are willing to wait for the right fit. Care is needed Monday through Friday, 12pm-6pm. They are offering $27-$30 an hour, and 25-30 guaranteed hours a week (depending on the finalized schedule), for a nanny that is proactive, attentive, and down right fun. They are a typical boy household, and value positive encouragement, talking through things, and family bonding time. They are looking for a nanny who can be an extension of themselves and continue to encourage their children with patience, love, and high fives. It is important to the family that their nanny take the time to learn their boys as individuals, and come to care about their interests, needs, excitements, and behaviors.
The boys are active, involved, love sports, and get along well with each other. Their youngest child has speech apraxia and sometimes needs a reminder to slow down while speaking, but his older brothers are also great at interpretations. The 8 year old does suffer from occasional allergy induced asthmatic symptoms, but it is controlled with the use of an established care plan. Their 10 year old is a typical, protective older brother and loves his siblings with all his heart.

Household Duties include but not limited to:
- Children’s Laundry
- Light Housekeeping
- Loading/Unloading dishwasher
- Errand running
Requirements:
- 3+ years of in home nanny experience
- 1+ year of in home family assistant experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Willing to undergo extensive background check
- Valid Driver’s License
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Legally permitted to work in the US
- Patient
- Caring
- Experience with allergies and speech delays preferred, not required.
