Location:  Huntersville, NC, 28078

Start:  ASAP

Children:  1 Child, age: 2.5 years

Compensation:  $27-30/hour and 40 guaranteed hours a week

Schedule:  8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Description: 

Family First is assisting a family located in Huntersville, NC, in finding a long term, patient, and fun loving nanny for their little girl, aged months.

This position starts ASAP. Care is needed from 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. They are offering $27-30/hour and 40 guaranteed hours a week for a nanny who is happy, loving, and values routines. They would love someone who can learn their daughters cues and personality. Ideally, their nanny will have the knowledge to be able to keep her on track developmentally with social and educational skills. 

As a family, they value gentle parenting and a Montessori learning style. Routine is important to their child. They follow the Eat-Play-Sleep method, and would like their nanny to continue taking that lead. They do have a sweet and well trained poodle, who would love to go on walks with the nanny, but this is not a requirement.

Childcare duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Creating an engaging and nurturing environment 
  • Setting up playdates and social interactions
  • Keeping child on track developmentally 
  • Emptying diaper pail 
  • Restocking nursery 
  • Communication with parents 

Household duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Unload and load the dishwasher
  • Toddler’s Laundry

Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • COVID Vaccine required
  • Comfortable with dogs
  • Must be fluent in English
  • be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • be at least 21 years of age
  • have at least 3 years of professional, recent experience working as a nanny
  • be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
