Family First Household Staffing Agency is eager to assist a family located in Asheville, NC, in finding a second, long term nanny for their three kids, ages 3.5 (twins) and 8 months. This is a nationwide search, and they are offering a relocation package for the right candidate.
This position starts ASAP. Care is needed from Wednesday to Friday from about 7:30am to 5:30pm, guaranteeing 30 hours a week. There will be an opportunity for additional hours on evenings and weekends. Post COVID travel may also be needed as things calm down in our world. They are offering $30-$35 an hour for a nanny who is a professional team player, and is comfortable with other household staff in the home. Their ideal candidate is one that is energetic but grounded, calm, and leads with empathy and confidence. As a family, they enjoy spending intentional time together, and strive to raise kind, loving and inclusive children. Someone who is well versed in Montessori, Love and Logic, RIE or Play Based Learning in general would be a great fit. Mom and dad work from home and their offices are on a different floor of the home, so they do not interrupt day to day life for the children and nanny.
The family believes that healthy communication is essential and as such are life-long learners of Nonviolent Communication. Someone who is detail-oriented and thrives on sticking to a more strict schedule and hands-on parenting would be ideal for their family.
They need someone who is reassuring, confident, proactive and supportive that is highly emotionally intelligent and can also follow directions. Their children are energetic, happy, and active. They love to be outside, ride their scooters, read books, play in their sandbox and even near the creek by their home. The toddler twins go to a preschool, so there will be time when the nanny just has the baby. They thrive on scheduled routine, healthy whole food nutrition, time in nature, non-electronic toys, and self-directed play. This job is not exclusive to childcare: Their nanny will be responsible for some household manager duties as well. They prefer for their nanny to be vaccinated and live a low key lifestyle whether they are vaccinated or not for the health and safety of everyone.
If you are an experienced, professional, and confident nanny, we would love for you to apply!
