Family First is happily assisting a family located in Charlotte, NC, in finding a bubbly and professional, long term, full time nanny for their two children, ages 2 and 6 weeks old.
This position starts February 18th, 2022, but they are willing to wait until the first week of March for the right fit. Care is needed Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. They are offering $25+/hour and 45 guaranteed hours a week for a nanny who is active, engaging, on the go, and joyful. They are an inclusive family that values teamwork, respect, and responsibility. They are hands-on parents, and are looking for a nanny who is comfortable tagging in and out when necessary. Someone who has initiative would be great! Bonus points if you have experience in Montessori learning methods.
Their two year old is go, go, go, go. He loves to do puzzles, read, throw balls, and play with trucks. Though it may take him time to warm up to new people, he is active and fun-loving. They have found that he thrives on engaging and subtle educational activities. Their 6 week old has been a happy baby! They would love someone who is comfortable baby wearing and cleaning breast pumps. Eventually, they would like their children to go on outings and playdates with their nanny. They try to encourage independence and self regulated free play. They would love a nanny who appreciates schedules and consistency.
Their ideal nanny is one that brings joy and life into their home. Someone who is happy, punctual, and a good communicator is ideal. They do have a furry friend, so an animal lover is a must. They would love someone who is open to a bit of flexibility, with notice, to stay late if needed, occasionally.
Childcare related duties including but not limited to:
- Tidying up the children’s rooms
- The children’s laundry
- Preparing healthy meals
- Loading and unloading dishwasher
- Keeping play areas tidy and organized
- Restocking nursery
- Preparing, cleaning, and sanitizing bottles and breast pumps
- Keeping children on track developmentally
- Creating and implementing activities
Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- COVID, TDAP, and Flu shot required
- Have at least three recent years of nanny experience
- Non smoker
- Experience with multiples
- be legally permitted to work in the United States
- have a reliable car
- be at least 21 years of age
- Must speak English
- be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
