Family First Household Staffing Agency is excited to assist a family in the NoDa area of Charlotte, NC, in finding a long term, experienced nanny for their infant child, aged 3 months at start.

This position starts March 21st. They are offering $23/hour. Care will typically be needed from 8am-3pm, or 7am-7pm, depending on Mom’s work schedule, as she is a doctor on a rotating schedule. The schedule will be known 2-3 months in advance. Their nanny will receive a paycheck for 40 hours of work per week for consistency, even though hours may vary. Please note that one week, care could be needed for 25+ hours, and another week, care could be needed for 55 hours or less, depending on the schedule. For example, if their nanny works 25 hours one week, they will still be paid 45 guaranteed hours; if their nanny works 55 hours a week, they will be paid for those 55 hours, including overtime.

Both mom and dad are looking for a truly collaborative, team playing nanny, as they learn to navigate new parenthood. They are open to learning different parenting styles and methods, but ultimately are looking to raise a kind, cultured, and independent child.  They are looking for someone who can bring a calm, supportive presence to their home, while also coming to the table with the knowledge and experience necessary for ensuring their child will thrive. They are requesting additional help with minor meal prep, however, this is not a requirement.

Their ideal candidate would be one who is able to inspire their daughter in independence, art, music, and academics as she grows and develops into her own person. They would love for their child to attend story times, play dates, and various classes when she is of appropriate age. They are a tight knit family and are excited at the prospect of bringing someone new on their team!

They do travel occasionally as a family, and are looking for someone who is ready to tag along with them! Mom is bi-lingual, and speaks Spanish, so someone who speaks Spanish could be a good fit. Currently, their baby has reflux, and likes to be held. Their nanny should be comfortable with reflux infants and like babywearing.

If you are a calm, collaborative, cultured, and experienced nanny, we would love for you to apply!
