Family First is assisting a parent located in Belmont, North Carolina, in finding a compassionate, long term, live-in nanny for their two children, ages 6 and 3.

This job starts ASAP. Care is needed for 40 hours a week, with a flexible schedule. Primary care of the children will be in the mornings and afternoons, with family assistant duties to be performed during the day. They are offering $23-$25 an hour for a flexible, easy going nanny. Dad travels 2-3 times per week, so their live-in nanny must be comfortable with being the sole provider for the children multiple times a week. They need a nanny who is able to take initiative in the home. Someone who can learn the ropes, and get tasks done in a timely fashion. Ideally, someone who can help with the home as a whole, and not just the children, would be great.

The oldest loves to go to the park and ride his bike. He is very active, and enjoys legos, reading, and playing with his toys. The three year old is a delightful and fun child. He is independent, and loves to read and sing. He loves to be outside, playing with trucks, sand, or the garden hose. They are both kind and happy children, and these are traits to be nurtured by their caregivers. The goal is to raise kind, respectful, and happy children, who are independent and compassionate.

The boys lost their mother recently and need someone who is empathetic, kind and compassionate. Their perfect nanny is one who is very energetic and positive. They are looking for someone to become a part of their family. Communication is an absolute must here. Updates, behaviors, things that are/are not working need to be communicated. They would like to view their nanny as a team player, someone who can offer suggestions openly and discuss various childcare and home care methods.

If you are an energetic, compassionate, positive, organized nanny who can take life by horns, we would love for you to apply!
