Family First is assisting a family of 5, located in Charlotte, NC, in finding a long term, professional nanny for their three active kids, ages 5, 3, and 9 months. They do have an old pomeranian pupper that stays in the kitchen for most of the day.
This position starts ASAP, and care is needed Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, with some flexibility. They are offering $20-$25 an hour for a nanny who is engaging, fun, and goes with the flow. Both mom and dad do work from home, but they have their own separate space, and will not be in the nanny’s way throughout the day. They are looking for a nanny who can become an extension of their family. They are a no screen time family, so it is important that their nanny be creative and hands-on when interacting with the children. They love arts and crafts, reading, and playing in the mud (they are not afraid of messes!)
Their 5 year old is as sweet as can be. She is very curious, intelligent, and she loves and thrives on learning. She loves baking or going outside and talking about the plants. She is genuinely interested in everything. She can be a perfectionist, and mom and dad are working on showing her that sometimes, life is messy! Their three year old loves trucks and is a happy, independent child. He is fairly cautious, and they would like help teaching him that is it okay to try something new. Their youngest is as happy as can be, loves to smile, and keep up with her older siblings. All the children thrive off of engagement and are independent. Their perfect nanny is one who can foster their sense of self, interests, and hobbies.
Starting in August, their 5 year old will be in a Montessori school during the day from 8am-3pm, and their 3 year old will start preschool, 8am-12pm. Mom will drop the kids off at school, but some occasional pickups will be needed by their nanny. They value learning through play and Montessori teaching methods. They want to raise their children to continuously be curious about the world and never stop learning. Their ideal nanny is one that is trustworthy and well educated. They would love someone that is creative and imaginative, and not afraid to get messy.

Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Team Player

- Montessori experience preferred

- Be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Speak English fluently
- At least three years of professional, recent experience working as a nanny preferred
- Be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
