Family First is assisting a family currently located in the Sedgefield Neighborhood in finding a long term, loving nanny for their one child, aged 7 months. They plan on moving soon to the Quail Hollow area, so someone who is comfortable with that transition is important. They have three small dogs, two miniature schnauzers and a golden retriever, and while there are no care duties required for the dogs, their nanny would need to be a dog lover.
This position starts ASAP. Care is needed Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. They are offering $25+/hour for a nanny that is active, experienced, and educational minded. Dad works during the nights and sleeps during the day, so their nanny must be comfortable with this. Mom works outside of the home, so during working hours, their nanny will have full charge of their child and the day!
They would love a nanny who is able to get their child out and about to activities and playdates with other children and nannies, and is willing to grow with their family. As a family, they believe their humor aligns with The Office, and consider themselves laid-back and inclusive. They value cohesive, gentle parenting, and independence in their child. He has just started crawling and is doing baby-led weaning.

Childcare Duties include:
- Keeping play areas tidy
- Communicating with parents
- Developing and implementing routines and schedules as the child grows
- Keeping the child on track developmentally
- Restocking nursery
- Transportation to and from activities
- Setting up enriching activities and playdates
- Creating an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment
- Making baby food
- Cleaning and sanitizing bottles
Household Duties Include:
- Emptying diaper pail
- Child’s laundry
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Potential meal prep for parents (not a deal breaker)
Requirements:
- Covid, TDAP vaccines up to date
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Active
- Animal lover
- Willing to stay long term and grow with the family
- Legally Permitted to work in United States
- At least 21 years of age
- At least 3 recent years of in home nannying experience with infants
- Able to clear a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, DMV, county, and state records
