Position: Full Time Family Assistant
Location: Charlotte, NC 
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $35-$40 per hour
Hours: M-F 8-4pm with some flexibility

About the Family:

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Family Assistant to support a high-profile family with a 4-year-old child in South Charlotte. This role involves a mix of childcare, household management, and personal assistant tasks. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and able to handle various responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Childcare: Provide nurturing part time care for a 4-year-old, including picking up and dropping off from school. Engaging in play, and planning activities when out of school.
  • Household Management: Assist with general upkeep of the home, including laundry, watering plants, and ensuring a tidy environment.
  • Dog Care: Walk and play with the family dog, a German Shepherd, ensuring its well-being.
  • Logistics Support: Be available at the house for deliveries and maintenance visits, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Reminders & Tasks: Help with reminders for important dates and tasks, such as purchasing gifts or planning for events.
  • Travel Planning: Assist in packing and planning for family travel.
  • Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of family vehicles, including regular maintenance and organization.
  • Boat/Jet Ski Care: Schedule maintenance and upkeep of recreational vehicles.
  • Support for Family Members: Provide assistance to family members, with various needs as they arise.
  • Grocery Shopping/Meal Prep: Handle grocery shopping and ensure the household is stocked with necessary items. Prepare simple healthy meals for dad and child when home. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in childcare and household management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with family members and vendors.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards tasks and challenges.

    Candidate Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of professional nanny experience and recent experience with infants.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
    • Must be reliable, organized, self motivated and proactive
    • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record; familiarity with driving in various conditions, including snow.
    • Must be 21+ have a valid passport for  international travel and legally allowed to work in the US. 
    • CPR & First Aid certified.
