Family First is assisting a family located in Chapel Hill, NC, in finding a loving and engaging nanny for their two happy children, ages 2 and 7 months. They are open to a nationwide search and relocation. They would like a commitment of one year, at least.
This position starts ASAP. Care is needed from 7:30am-6:30pm, Monday through Friday, guaranteeing 55 hours a week. They are offering $25/hour plus overtime for a nanny who truly loves being around children. They would love someone who is interested in reading and can keep screen time to a minimum. Their dream candidate is one who is thoughtful about safety and is culturally aware. Someone who is organized, thoughtful, and proactive would work great with them.
Their oldest loves playing outside and their baby is working on crawling! As a family, they value routines and independence. The family is well traveled and has a Hattian heritage; because of this they would love their nanny to assist in enriching their children’s lives through different cultural activities, lessons, and local classes. They are looking to raise independent, diverse, kind children. Someone who is able to support the children in their growth as individuals while fostering their sense of curiosity and independence would be a perfect fit! They are interested in some help with the house, such as wiping the counter down after meal time, keeping a grocery list, and restocking the nursery. Preference will be given to candidates that speak either Spanish, French, or Haittian Creole. If you have experience with gentle parenting and Montessori methods, you would be a great fit with this family.

Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- COVID and TDAP Vaccinated
- Reliable and Punctual
- Calm
- Professional
- Engaging
- 3 years of professional experience with infants and toddlers
- Be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Speak English fluently
- Preference given to a second language
- At least three years of professional, recent experience working as a nanny preferred
- Be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
