There are over “21.5 million working mothers with children under the age 18” working within the United States according to the U.S. Department of Labor. It’s that time again! This week we are introducing a Charlotte, NC Nanny who continues to show her love and dedication to assisting families in raising healthy, happy kiddos. World, meet Shonna Ratchford. What’s the most difficult situation you’ve faced as a nanny and how did you handle it? Going from working in a preschool to nannying was a big transition for me. I really loved the classroom setting as well as the adult interaction with the rest of the staff and didn’t really anticipate how different my days would be. I quickly learned that Charlotte has a fantastic community of nannies and SAH moms though, and just plugged into it. There are tons of fun story times, play dates & other meet ups to keep cabin fever from setting in! What is your favorite age range and why?
