Family First Household Staffing Agency is assisting a loving family located in Myers Park in finding a gentle, long-term nanny for their 12 week old starting in January, 2020. It is important that their nanny be adaptable, flexible and peaceful.
This position is Tuesday – Friday and guarantees 30 hours per week and they are offering $18-$20 per hour. The nanny will be provided with their exact schedule every two weeks, so flexibility is a must. The great news is that the family is open to a live-in or live-out nanny. The family has a lovely mother in law suite above their garage with a private bathroom, closet, TV, Wi-fi, mini fridge and toaster. The nanny will have access to the families laundry room and kitchen.
There will be opportunities to travel with the family as their family has a second home in Charleston, SC. They enjoy going to the beach and skiing so if you are open to both warm and cold weather that is a plus! The family also frequents their local country club and resorts. It is necessary that their nanny be comfortable in those environments and be ready to tag team with the family on vacations and when home.
The ideal candidate will know sign language, like to sing, do arts and crafts, swim and is educationally focused. It is important to the family that the nanny be open to taking their child outside for fresh air, on playdates and to museums as he grows older.
Childcare related duties including but not limited to:
- Child’s laundry
- Cleaning and sanitizing bottles
- Loading and unloading dishwasher
- Keeping play areas tidy
Household responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Grocery pickup
- Light errands
Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- previous in home experience as a nanny with infants
- be a great swimmer and willing to travel
- be legally permitted to work in the United States
- be at least 21 years of age
- have at least three years of professional, recent experience working as a nanny
- be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
