Newborn Care Specialist Wanted in Mooresville, NC

Family First Household Staffing Agency is assisting a family in Mooresville, NC in finding a Newborn Care Specialist for their second  child, due at the end of October, 2021.

The family is looking to bring on a Newborn Care Specialist for eight  weeks, from October 26th, 2021 to December 16th, 2021 with some flexibility needed. The schedule will typically be Sunday through Thursday, from 8pm to 8am. They are offering $25-$30 an hour for a candidate with expertise in infant care and development, including feeding, sleep-training, and handling all tasks regarding child care overnight. 

The family is eager to bring a Newborn Care Specialist into their home who is warm, intuitive, an active listener, communicative, positive, proactive, kind, gentle and caring, with experience in caring for infants. They are looking for a candidate who is team-oriented and collaborative.The family lives active, healthy and service-oriented lives. They value listening , equality, co-creation, and understanding and uplifting others. It is important that their NCS has the COVID 19 and TDAP vaccines. 

 The  family is also looking to bring a nanny into their childcare team in January 2022, and are open to the NCS transitioning into their full time nanny at that time. To read the nanny job description, click here

If you are an experienced, supportive, loving, and self sufficient Newborn Care Specialist, we would love for you to apply! 

Newborn Care related duties including but not limited to:

  • Swaddling, feeding, and changing infant
  • Sanitizing breast pumps
  • Educating parents on safe practices 
  • Circumcision and umbilical cord care
  • Baby’s laundry
  • Meal prep for family if needed
  • Sanitizing bottles

Requirements​:

  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • 3+ years of recent, previous in home experience as a Newborn Care Specialist or Postpartum Doula
  • Be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender,
    criminal, county, and state, DMV records
