Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. (45 hours)
Family First is assisting a family located in Cornelius, NC in finding a long-term, Family Assistant for their 4 active children, ages 2, 4 and 6 with a baby on the way.
This position starts ASAP, but they are willing to wait for the right person. Care is needed Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. They are offering 45 guaranteed hours and $30-$35 an hour for a loving, organized, and flexible family assistant.
The Family Assistant will work in tandem with mom and dad and will never have all 4 children at once. Mom is a stay at home mom and dad works from home so please be ready for an environment where everyone leans on each other with open communication and support.
The children are emotionally intelligent, nurturing, creative and enjoy imaginary play. The family follows Respectful Parenting, live on the lake and are putting a pool in. Please be comfortable with swimming.
Their ideal family assistant is one who can keep their kids on track, but also one who can lead with empathy. They are a hardworking family that value kindness, empathy, forgiveness, and emotional support. They are looking for a family assistant who will cook for the children.

Childcare related duties including but not limited to:
- Picking up the children from school
- Driving to and from after school activities
- Homework help/ homework check
- Keeping play areas and children’s rooms tidy
Household responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Grocery shopping
- Light house cleaning
- Unloading/loading dishwasher
- Children’s laundry
- Errand running as needed
- Meal prep
- Household duties will be added as needed

Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- COVID Vaccine preferred
- Ability to swim and climb stairs
- Ability to life 30+ pounds
- Family desires long term commitment
- Experience with Newborns
- Must be fluent in English
- be legally permitted to work in the United Statesbe at least 21 years of age
- have at least three years of professional, recent experience working as a nanny
- be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
