Full-Time Housekeeper for a Family of Six | Charlotte, NC

Schedule: 4 days per week, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:30 AM–4:30 PM
Compensation: $28+ per hour 
Start Date: As soon as the right fit is found

Family First Household Staffing Agency is assisting a wonderful High Profile Charlotte-based family in finding a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Housekeeper to care for their 8,000 sq. ft. home. This is a bustling, joyful household with four children, a stay-at-home parent, and a chef who visits three days a week.

The ideal candidate is a professional who takes pride in their craft, thrives on creating order, appreciates discretion and approaches each day with a solution-minded attitude. This family values clear communication, consistency, and someone who truly enjoys being part of a family-centered household.

Position Overview

The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and flow throughout the home. From laundry and linens to floors and family spaces, this role is best suited for someone who can manage their time efficiently, stay a few steps ahead, and take initiative without constant direction.

Responsibilities Include:

Daily Housekeeping: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across 7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, living spaces, and common areas.

Laundry Management: Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing for a family of six; change and launder linens regularly.

Floor & Surface Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum hardwood, tile, and carpeted floors; dust and polish surfaces with care.

Kitchen Support: Load/unload dishwasher, wipe counters, clean sinks, and ensure the kitchen is neat after meals.

Bathroom Cleaning: Keep bathrooms fresh and spotless; restock toiletries and towels as needed.

Organization: Maintain household organization systems—closets, playrooms, pantries, and storage spaces.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside the family’s chef three days per week and maintain a clean, ready-to-use kitchen environment.

Household Communication: Notice and report maintenance needs, low supplies, or issues that need attention.

General Support: Assist with light tidying throughout the day and help the home run smoothly.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ professional housekeeping experience in a private residence of similar size

• Excellent references and a proven track record of reliability

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Background check required
