Charlotte Family Seeking Full-Time Nanny for Three Amazing Children(Charlotte, NC)

Location: Myers Park 

Start Date: June 1, 2025 or sooner for the right candidate
Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 6:50 AM–5:00 PM during the school year (about 51 hours/week)
• Monday – Friday 8pm-5pm during the summer (about 45 hours/week)

Compensation Snapshot: 

• $32–$35/hour, W-2 employment, overtime
• Live-in option (detached studio garage apartment with full bath, kitchen, and laundry) available for the right fit
• Open to out-of-state candidates 

About Us:
We’re a busy, loving family on the search for a kind, experienced, and driven nanny to join our team and grow with us for many years to come! We are looking for a long-term commitment and continue to have a close relationship with our former nanny who recently retired.  We have three children— Boy (5), Girl (3), and Girl (1). Our home is built on kindness, love, respect, building independence, and fostering a love for learning. We believe childhood should be celebrated and encourage a lot of outdoor play.   We would love to welcome a nanny who can keep up with three young minds and hearts without screen time.

You’re someone who truly enjoys your role caring for these vibrant little humans!! You’re organized and punctual. You’re a self-starter. You can appreciate the benefit of keeping a tidy, organized household. You are an excellent driver. You appreciate fostering independence and manners in young children. Bonus points if you happen to speak a second language! 

Your Days Might Include:

• Playground/park/pool visits; neighborhood walks 

• School drop-offs, pickups, and activity runs
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks (bonus points if you enjoy cooking with the kids!)
• Family laundry and tidying up after busy days of play. The kids love helping with this!
• Sanitizing the children’s toys
• Encouraging outdoor activities like sidewalk chalk masterpieces and scavenger hunts
• Helping coordinate doctor’s appointments and occasional outings
• Being a calm, steady presence for the kids and a kind communicator with the parents
• Supervising the children at the pool
• Open to traveling domestically with our family

• Have experience juggling multiple young children and are safety-conscious 
• Love open, respectful communication and believe in working as a team
• Have experience working with parents who have demanding work roles
• Are comfortable with a parent working from a home office (who understands boundaries)

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of nanny experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Fluent in English (second language would be a plus)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States 
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
• Flexibility for occasional overtime with advance notice
• Willingness to undergo a nationwide background check
• Interested and willing to travel domestically with the family 

Up-to-date on the following immunizations as Parent works with Immune Compromised Patients: 

• COVID-19 (2024/2025 updated dose)
• Annual flu shot (by October 15th each year)
• Tdap (within the last 10 years)
• MMR (documentation or titer required)
