About the Little Guy

Their little one is a curious, observant 9-month-old who enjoys exploring his surroundings and studying how things work. He loves books (his “Little Blue Book” is a favorite), music, and toys that allow him to tinker and analyze shapes and sounds. He often studies how objects function—sometimes becoming just as interested in the speaker of a toy piano as the keys themselves.

Their son enjoys observing activity around him and thrives when caregivers engage him through songs, storytelling, and interactive play. He is also a great sleeper, which helps create a consistent rhythm to the day.

Feeding

The family is thoughtfully navigating his feeding journey and has a feeding specialist to support his development with solids.

They are looking for a nanny who is patient, attentive, and creative in helping encourage healthy eating habits while following guidance from specialists as they transition from bottles to solids.

Parenting Philosophy

The family values raising a child who is confident, kind, curious, and independent. They believe childhood should include exploration, social interaction, and meaningful engagement with the world. In fact the mom grew up as a montessori kid and really values learning through play, curiosity and following their little ones lead.

They hope to nurture qualities such as:

  • Respect and kindness toward others
  • Pride in working toward goals
  • Curiosity and creativity
  • Independence and self-confidence

They envision a childhood filled with outdoor play, community engagement, and opportunities to explore.

Responsibilities Include

  • Supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate play, sensory activities, reading, and language development
  • Bottle feeding, diapering, and maintaining daily routines
  • Supporting the transition from bottles to solids with patience and care

  • Light clean-up related to baby care (bottles, meals, toys, nursery organization)
  • Baby laundry (wash, dry, fold, put away)
  • Maintaining a calm, nurturing, and organized environment
  • Family would also be interested in someone open to cooking dinner for the parent or light meal prep.

  • Proven experience caring for children through multiple phases of life
  • Proof of longevity as a nanny with previous employers
  • Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
