Family Assistant Needed in Charlotte, NC

Family First Travel Nannies is assisting a fast paced family in finding an exceptional career Nanny/Family Assistant to join their family. The hours are 12-8pm Monday – Friday and pay is $18-$22 per DOE. They have two respectful, fun, and loving girls ages 11 and 14 who will need to be picked up from school. Although the girls will be the primary focus, they also need help running the household. The family travels a few times through out the year for up to a week at a time and will need help overnight at their home with the girls. They will also need house sitting when they are away as a family and prefer someone that is willing to travel with them occasionally.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Picking the children up from school
  • Light Housekeeping including the family laundry
  • Loading and unloading the dishwasher
  • Meal prep for the family
  • Cleaning up after any activities including meal preparations
  • Emptying the garbage bin
  • Taking the cars to get cleaned
  • Running errands such a going to the post office and shopping for gifts

The family has two large hypoallergenic, friendly dogs that you will not be responsible for. They have a dog walker that comes to care for them. They also have a Housekeeper for deep cleaning the home that comes at least one time per week. All applicants must be willing and ready to work as a team with the other staff.

Requirements:

  • be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • be at least 21 years of age
  • have at least two years of professional, recent experience working as a Family Assistant or Household Manager.
  • have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • have three professional references
  • be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records.
