Family First Household Staffing Agency is assisting a loving family located in Myers Park in finding a short-term live in nanny for their 6 month old starting ASAP. They are currently looking for a nanny to stay with them through the beginning of August. It is important that their nanny be adaptable, flexible and have a peaceful disposition.
The nanny will be staying in a lovely mother in law suite above their garage with a private bathroom, closet, TV, Wi-fi, mini fridge and microwave. The nanny will have access to the families laundry room and kitchen.
They currently have a full time nanny Tuesday-Thursday and are looking for help on Mondays and Tuesday through Friday 7-9am and 4-6pm. There will be a need for occasional help on weekends and date nights.
This position could be great for a college student home from school or an empty nester who would like to impart their love and skills to another family. Pay is based on experience.
If the stay at home order changes before the end of the job, there will be opportunities to travel with the family as their family has a second home in Charleston, SC. They enjoy going to the beach and skiing so if you are open to both warm and cold weather that is a plus! The family also frequents their local country club and resorts. It is necessary that their nanny be comfortable in those environments and be ready to tag team with the family on vacations and when home.
The ideal candidate will know sign language, like to sing, do arts and crafts, swim and is educationally focused. It is important to the family that the nanny be open to taking their child outside for fresh air, on playdates and to museums as he grows older.
Childcare related duties including but not limited to:
- Child’s laundry
- Cleaning and sanitizing bottles
- Loading and unloading dishwasher
- Keeping play areas tidy
Household responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Grocery pickup
- Light errands
Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- previous in home experience as a nanny with infants
- be a great swimmer and willing to travel
- be legally permitted to work in the United States
- be at least 21 years of age
- have at least 3 years of professional, recent experience working as a nanny
- be able to pass a government background check if hired, including sex offender, criminal, county, and state, DMV records
